Rummy Safety: Protect Your Eyes and Attention During Play

Screen comfort is part of responsible play. Eye strain, poor lighting, and tired attention can make a simple card arrangement difficult to read. They can also increase the chance of tapping the wrong control or continuing after you intended to stop.
Before starting, adjust brightness to match the room and enlarge text or interface elements when possible. Keep the screen at a comfortable distance and avoid playing in glare. If the app makes cards difficult to distinguish, stop and change the display rather than relying on memory.
Set a break interval before the session. Look away from the screen, move your body, and drink water. A break is not a reason to extend the session; it is a way to check whether you still want to continue within your time and spending boundaries.
Notice warning signs such as blurred vision, headache, irritability, or repeated mistakes. End the session if they appear. Do not play while driving, operating equipment, or doing another task that requires full attention. Notifications and background distractions can be safety issues as well as strategy issues.
Comfort rules are simple, but they protect judgment. A clear screen, a quiet place, and a planned stopping point make it easier to treat the game as entertainment rather than an activity that controls your attention.
